He is an absolutely gorgeous looking (and he knows it!), approximately 3 year old, neutered male. Casanova would prefer a quiet home setting with no other animals; although another mellow cat would likely work for him. Once he has found his comfort zone, feels safe and finds himself in his very own calm space, he will show you his most affectionate and loving side. His color and markings are often categorized as Siamese-mixes; additional research however suggested that he is a rare finding of a “Snowshoe Cat”.
The Snowshoe is a rare breed of cat originating in the United States in the 1960s as a result of cross breeding between a Siamese and a bi-colored American Shorthair producing a sturdy, pointed cat with white markings on the face, chest and feet. Snowshoe cats have an affectionate and docile disposition. Due to this, they do not do well under circumstances where they are left alone for long periods of time. They are noted as being very intelligent and have the ability to learn tricks and open doors.
